Top 6 Urasawa villains.
- Johan Liebert (Monster) because he’s legitimately terrifying. I am honestly scared of this character. What a presence. Jeezus.
- FRIEND (20th Century Boys) because he’s the most destructive and gleefully nuts villain Urasawa’s ever conceived.
- Manjome Inshu (20th Century Boys) because he plays as sort of a wiser, cooler Roberto. I like that Manjome has some extra facets to his personality. His past is unexpectedly interesting, and you almost feel sorry for him at some points. A little more relatable than other Urasawa villains
- Pluto (Pluto) for being one of the most tragic villains.
- Roberto (Monster) because although he’s PRETTY DOPEY and TOTALLY GAY for Johan, he is also genuinely terrifying. Monster did a great job of having its villains make everything SUPER tense.
- Dr. Roosevelt (Pluto) because I fucking love that design and how Urasawa managed to make it SO sinister.
